Hi..Take a look at this Scott #1361 flag stamp...is this a double print on postage or some other oddity..?...Thanks.

Looks like color misregistration to me. The black is shifted slightly to the left. If you look along the left edge of the stamp design, you can see the black lines stick out a little.

Or maybe, the blue is shifted slightly to the right? It's all relative.

My best guess and opinion.

When I saw your thread here Wert I remembered this from a couple
of years ago.

This is the only thing I could find on my copies.
Yellow rim around the maple leaf.

Keep on finding this stuff Wert, it's what makes stamp collecting
fun without always concentrating on what it's worth.
