I thought everyone was finished talking about the Roman States block and I was going to show the real stamps but that site was shut down ,so I wanted to show the real stamps -----

The auction was ended early on ebay.

The thread is still going strong but should die down unless the OP shows us the rest of the treasures he has promised.

I see now that the thread is locked. You are correct floortrader.

The whole original thread certainly prompted some interesting back and forth about the topic of originals vs. reprints vs. fakes, of which I know little. I don't own anything valuable enough to call for expertizing, so I appreciated all of the input (with hopes someday of owning something of that quality - HAHAHAHA).

It was unfortunate that there was an instant animosity and contention that gave the whole thread such a negative feel.

Thanks to these members for posting examples of their stamps.
