Just discovered this exciting thread. I will be lurking and drooling for weeks, maybe months!!! Then, and only then, will I scan and post a few of my own.

Or maybe not. Chances are I will likely cheat and show off some newly acquired items long before I read every thread and post.

No rules, just right. (Do they REALLY say that "down under?"

Another addition to the collection: an elaborate 1897 postal card from Sweden, commemorating the 25th year of Oscar II's reign.

Today I got this postal card from one of my favorite countries.

I have the book, Alice Through the Pillar-box and What She Found There: A Philatelic Phantasy (1978), by Gerald M. King. It depicts a number of similar stamps, but no postal stationery.

I love Postal stationary. Chilean especially. I also love US. Some of my favorite covers are used albino's where they were written "OK" because they just looked like un-franked envelopes.

Ah yes, I'm aware of that particular piece of merchandise. Don't have one, though.

More acquisitions:

Bulgaria (with cute little Prince Boris)

Essen (German local private post)

Nepal (the crude quality of the printing appeals to me)
