My latest 19th-century acquisition:

Germany – Offices on Naval Vessels (Marine-Schiffsposten)

Anyone interested in cards like this should check out PostmasterGS's extremely informative thread on the subject: https://goscf.com/t/18783

It's interesting how the recent Armenian postal cards are numbered limited editions of 500. My Antoine Meillet card is another example of this:

erilaz: I noted they were serial numbered but didn't know about the 500 production limit. Thanks for sharing.

It's there in the fine print, in Armenian and English: "print-run 500".

Here is a Dutch letter card from 1888 (Michel # K 1.). Unfortunately the back flap, which had a receiving cancel, is missing.

This Bulgarian postal card was sent to Monsieur Alice Filbert in NYC, U.S.A. on September 14, 1910. The sender is looking to do some stamp business, and has glued three Sc.#73 Bulgarians on the letter side of the card.

Somehow, Alice Cooper came to mind.

New acquisitions:

Austria, 1871.

Iceland, 1879. I love the medieval ornamentation on this card.

Selangor, 1896.

Here is a old item, that I have been trying to regain for a LOT of years! I had one 30 years or so ago, but it got sold in my GB collection at one of my collecting change point. I always liked this cover, so I have been trying (not hard) to obtain another one to add to my postal stationery collection. I finally succeeded!

Great Britain B-1, Mulready Envelope. Issued 1840. Enjoy (I do).
