hello all today I received stamps and sheets from the states ,the seller sent me the stamps in glassine small envelopes and they are all fine but all the sheets and cards were stuck together in a horrible way and also stuck with the stockcards I tried the fridge method and it went well with some but the rest are in the same condition...is there anything else I could do before sinking them with water and lose all the gum and MNH conditions

Did you report this to the dealer? Did you buy these through ebay and/or paid through paypal? Were the items sent by insured post? |

Nothing can be done to save the original gum if the freezer didn't work. Only other way is soaking which will remove the gum. I'd send them back to the seller and recommend that they use better packaging practices. |

no I didn't report to him but I might do it later and I hate to give any seller a negative feedback the seller was nice with me before and he gave me a refund of stolen items that I can spend in other items he sells so any other methods I can do now? |

I wouldn't leave negative feedback unless there was no other alternative. I'm sure simply communicating with the seller and sending them pictures they will offer a solution that is acceptable. The majority of sellers do stand behind their product. |

Sometimes shipping stamps from a cold climate to a hot climate can result in the gum sticking to the cardboard packaging. |

I would never send a negative feedback unless the seller was rude in a very annoying way and I contacted the seller now just to inform him and I am not looking for a refund I agree jogil but this time I believe it was a careless packaging from the seller |

Is sweating stamps in a sweat box as good as freezing them to separate them? |

The first thing to do is contact the dealer and see what the outcome is. He may very well exchange the stamps for you. Tom |

Many years ago, I remember going to a stamp show in the summer and buying some mint stamps in a 102 card that I put into my shirt pocket. They got stuck to the 102 paper back. This was the first and last time that I ever did this. |
