Hi Wert, This is a Canadian Revenue Stamp. I don't have my catalogs here at work but I believe this is from the third Bill Stamp Issue. Scotts Catalog does not list revenues for Canada.

E.S.J. van Dam is probably your best Catalog choice for getting numbers and information on revenue stamps.

Yes it is a real Revenue Stamp (not a Postage Stamp).

Wert, as stated previously, your stamp is listed as #FB43. It has a catalogue value of 45 cents in my 2009 edition of the E.S.J. van Dam. This is known as the "Third Bill Issue" that was issued in 1868. It comes from a set of 18 different stamps.Stamps such as these, are not listed in any of the Scott's Standard Catalogues.

Hope this helps?
