Hi,
I've found a picture of a stamp in my Linn's Identifier but cannot locate the same stamp in the Scotts cataloge.

This is a stamp from "China, People's Republic of - East China", and the "code" is "Scott 5L82". What does that mean?

Thank you!

"L" is local, back of the book in Scott. The 82 is the catalogue number, and the 5 indicates that there is more than one category of locals for this country; in this case, this is the fifth one.

Thank you! Right after I posted my plea, I began scanning thru the catalog and found it.

Thanks again!
