I have this stamp that is rouletted so I assume it is either #4 or most likely $5. I cannot find any info as to distinguishing marks,etc. Any ideas??

I'm not at home right now, but I believe the difference is in the background around the bull. The first design has a pattern in the background, and the second design does not. I tried to enlarge your picture on my phone, and I didn't see a background, but I wouldn't swear to it.

If #5 is the second design type, then I'd guess you have #5. I can double check this later tonight.

Is the paper ribbed? It appears to me a Michel 5.

Thanks for the info. Cjd, I did notice the lack of background after my post but still needed confirmation.I was hoping I had something a little more valuable!
