Hi community,

I am new to the stamp world and would like to have you advices on evaluation a collection I own. I have a lot of stamps from many countries in mint condition. Especialy from spain and vatican. I also have first day postage in mint condition.

Can anyone help me evaluate those stamps?

Here are some samples, thank you

Marc

I think the community will advise you to go to Scott's catalogues at the library - and then post questions here. Have no idea what this means: "I also have first day postage in mint condition."

For the Spanish stamps; if they are from 1955 to 1995: add the face values in pesetas, divide by 166 and then again by 1.20 and you'll get an approximate figure of how they're worth in euro.
That is, 20% below face value, if you're lucky enough to find someone who wants them...

As for the Spanish FDC, most sell for 1$ each.

Catalog values, are just for reference.

Sorry, being so negative, but it's reality!
