Can someone check to see if this is a postal forgery ,it is a low value stamp and not likey to be a philatelic forgery . Maybe a later printing from a worn plate ......something looks wrong anyone has a reference on these , the first stamp looks fine but the second darker stamp is questionable .

I have got a similar pair of stamps (the second not as deep a colour, yet the details are as different), but I'd think it is an official reissue (maybe called differently), being definitive the stamps might be printed by a different printer and added to if needed.
I'll post a picture a bit later

Here are the two stamps. The one on the right has more shaded areas, also little differences in details (look of the mantle and thicker letters at the bottom, plus verticals over them). But for comparison I am showing anothre pair, same differences. There are other pairs of various values like that. So that is hardly a postal forgery, I think. When clicked upon the photo gets large.

Thanks---CollG, with your scans it looks like a later printing from worn plates.

These definitives were in print for quite a long period using different plates, different types of paper, different inks, etc. Hence you can expect quite a variety!

No forgeries involved... No re-issues or other fanaberie!

Here are my copies of these issues.

I always like to keep the extras that are different - Even if they don't have minor variety numbers. I just like 'em

Exercise caution in your philatelic affairs, for the world is full of trickery.

Perf 12, Thank you.

Looks like a magazine image, but someone has gone to the trouble of perforating.
no "facsimile" on the back.
Looks ok to the naked eye.

Mounted in my album, till a real one comes along.
