I forgot to mention you have to upload the photo's from your microscope to your computer (easy to do just name the photo and up load it to your pictures)it should automatically load
Oh and P.S. Tina I read in another post you aren't to sure about posting photo's,what I do is up load my photo's to photobucket.com and then down load to this site its very easy to do

G'Day Tina did the microscope work first and then you lost the image or did it say "microscope not connected",next time you turn off your computer and restart it click on the microscope icon wait for the tornado then the microscope screen should show you an image that its working,if "microscope not connected" appears instead it means that its not working and you may need an electronic tech to look at it.
secondly if you haven't enough ram on your computer It will freeze thou I don't think this is the case but with this unit it could happen.
Tina if you have a digital camera that you can attach to the computer you can upload photo's this way,I have one with a micro lens that I use for the larger shot of the stamps and covers that I post here on the forum thou I miss the microscope more than I thought.
Also with photobucket.com you can join and upload photo's for free, once you join there's a box on your home page that allows you to upload from your computer to your home page site and it very easy then to down load to other sites
O.K. that's the best I can do for now Tina please let me know what happens
regards Harry

Fascinating learning so much about a hobby I am finding I know so little about

G'Day again Tina you can find them on ebay this is where I brought mine there was a bloke 3 suburbs away from Parramatta here in Sydney on ebay selling them for the same price as you can buy them in the states, and yes you will find sellers in the states as well but be careful of which microscope you buy as you need one with a USB attachment, there (the didjie blue Q5) about $90 not including shipping (it may be cheaper to have it fixed),also there is a USB zoom microscope from Hong Kong for $16 dollars ($36.00 to ship)but only 1.3 mp so I don't know how good the photo's will be when there uploaded so I hope this helps a little more.
G'Day Peg this is the best way to see the variations as well as taking photo's of them to upload to any site
regards Harry
