G'Day all
My microscope crashed and took the computer with it ,
great microscope but a shame I had it plugged in to the computer when it crashed,
can anyone refer another type other than Digital Blue 5 (only three (3) settings 10X 60X 200X) one with camera that I can use with maybe 5X 10X 30X 60X 100X and a 200X or adjustable settings
thanks Harry

Thanks Tom they did email back to me and said they don't sell outside the States,oh how did the computer crash well I had the microscope plugged into the computer 24/7 as I use it for not only my stamps (Washington 2cent varieties) and covers also my coins (VAM's),the blue's powered by the computer and something in the digi blue let loose and took down the computer at the same time(could be image processor on the scope) I now have a new computer but need a microscope for studying my stamp veriations.
Thanks Steve will have a look after this post
regards Harry

Hi Tina
you probably know this already but I'll take you through the steps and then tell you what it does
This is what should happen, you put the cd in your computer drive, the computer will ask you if you want to install it (the cd) after installation a microscope icon will appear plug your microscope into the port click on the icon and within a few seconds you should see a tornado in center screen.
You'll see your microscope's white led light (there's a red one on top that's just power) light up and your computer screen should show what the microscope sees, next you can place a stamp under the lens and after adjusting the focus then take a photo of your variations with the 10X or 60X magnification (say your Washington 2 cent variety)I also did use mine for my VAM varieties so its more a specialist tool oh and just a foot note(If the led light doesn't light up and you get a message instead (this could be a 109 message)this means your microscope may have a problem.)
hope this helps
regards Harry
