I've tried searching for a preexisting thread on IDs but couldn't find one. I have a set from a random
ebay box lot that had no catalog numbers or any identifying marks that I could see. I couldn't read the script so that was no help. Anyone know where these poor guys belong?
The thaler denomination made me thing it's a German issue? German Territorial? But then I saw Guerches and all I could find on that so far has been a link to a commune a few miles outside of Paris proper. My references are mostly still packed in moving boxes so no help from that until I can get a hold on them (oh,the joys of being a short woman) and it's driving me crazy.
Anyone have info?
