The biggest plus of being a APS member is the library . That once source can expand your collection and step up your collecting interest. I just love that new scanning machine that lets you put any book or reference information onto a $5.00 thumb drive and take it home as your future reference . I think I spend three full days scanning .

I find the APS well worth the money. The magazine is good (most months) and I have found the Stamp Store very reliable (a bit more expensive than typical ebay material but some good buys in there). I believe APS was looking into getting an outside "CEO" type to try and revitalize the organization - interesting to see how that goes - I'm optimistic.
