I have never been to visit the History Center's philatelic collection and I used to do printing for them back in the early 80's when I had a small print shop in St. Paul. I am out of excuses not to visit now. Back then I mainly collected stamps and baseball cards. I did not really get into covers until later in the 80's. We should plan a field trip and get others to join in after the Saturday bourse at the Philatelic library. It's right across the river. We could all have lunch at Boca Chica and head on over. Anyone else interested?

Sounds great! It is possible to do so. I'll see what my schedule will allow. I was talking with Smauggie about doing a project with the MSHS to inventory it's entire philatelic collection and I'm refering to those items they don't realize they have before they are lost!
