T hanks Peter ---- I got to the point with my worldwide collection that I didn't want to just be filling blank squares on my album pages . I wanted to have stuff that people rarely see .

Ironically, this was done to make these stamps less desirable to collectors (so the postal admin could make more with their mark-up) and it appears that they created a whole new collecting area!

Moot --- One of the messages I am trying to give is that having something interesting and still unusual doesn't have to cost a lot of money , very few of the above stamps cost more than a dollar . My next project is to make a collection of used U.S. PLATE NO. COILS . This group of used stamps will not cost a lot very few are over $5.00 each . But it will take a lot of search time .

F.T. - Yeah, I am sure what they ended up doing was creating a SUPPLEMENTAL collecting area rather than an alternate collecting area. Honestly, some of the most fun can be had with the most affordable areas.
