Yesterday I received an order from Court Philatelics that had shipped way back on Oct 25th. Forty-nine days. No tracking, so I have no idea whether this one got hung up on their end or this end. Or possibly a little of both.
A packet of 300 GB regionals, 100 each from N. Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.
Half pound of high value Machins on paper.
Plus a bonus packet of 100 diff Guernsey.
Should be plenty of fun in here for winter if it ever arrives.

Not a damn thing, unfortunately. Still waiting for an order. At least it's finally been marked as shipped over on Hipstamp but I have no clue how long it's been since the seller never responded to my question. |

That's a while. They're normally much quicker than that. Maybe the postal system? |

That's pretty ordinary, even for Australia Post.
9 day delay? Sheesh indeed!
That said, the exact time of 12 midday says something is off. |

Parcel Post items sent to Western Australia from the east coast of Australia may take up to an additional two weeks to be delivered (based on our current estimates).
Unaddressed Mail and Print Post deliveries are also impacted and may take an additional week to arrive.
Heavy rain and flooding have closed the Sydney-to-Perth rail line. The Melbourne-to-Adelaide rail link was closed due to damage caused by a train derailment and reopened on 21 November, however delays are expected due to a backlog of freight. Our Express Post service is not affected by the rail network disruptions. If you need to send items to Western Australia urgently, consider this option. Please note that as more customers opt to use this service, there may be an additional two-day delay to the standard delivery time.

Mail within the USA and from the USA to elsewhere is considerably better than it was since covid started, but it is still not where it should be. At least fewer mailings are taking more than a month. Oh, happy day.. |

Here's the corner of the envelope that came today, with some nice vintage stamps on it. I particularly like the two-image centennial of the US post. Inside, this (poorly photographed) souvenir sheet from S. Tomé e Príncipe. I'm expecting the matching sheet, with the single stamp, any day now from another seller. |

This Marianen stamp cancelled in Saipan during a 27-day period (1-27 Jan 1911) when they were missing the "11" year slug, so the year had to be handwritten. |

I got this in the mail! Two gorgeous stamps, sent from Austria to Canada! I'm particularly delighted by the 2022 Europa stamp as I collect CEPT/Europa!! You have to be a dedicated philatelist if that is the defining part of your day!! |

Just recived my 2019 U.S. specialized catalog today! Was from a recent contest in this community. Can't wait to use it when I get around to my U.S. collection (still some to do with the rest of the world first). Thanks again to Oracle of Delphi. |
