Larry - the other suggestions have been good. One that I might suggest on future collections like this is a simple statement in the description to the effect that "There are no USA stamps included, and I cannot say whether any album pages have been removed," or something like that. This dreamer probably had visions of all sorts of classic USA being included in the Junior album that he paid very little for... Everyone wants something for nothing, and he got disappointed. There was nothing wrong with your description and photos - an experienced eye would immediately see that it was an old Junior album filled with common classic stamps (most are like this - any good stuff was probably picked out long ago). Lots like this are excellent for someone who likes exploring or someone who is just starting out on a classic (1840-1940) collection. Everyone needs the cheap stamps for their collection at some point... The most disturbing part of this transaction for me is the threatening nature of the communication. It is one of those things that is quite simple - if you like what you receive, you keep it. If you don't, you return it. In any case, you notify the seller and go from there, hopefully in a friendly manner. Perhaps a compromise can be worked out, if the seller wants to work with the buyer to ensure satisfaction. But, some buyers have unreasonable expectations (i.e., they want rarity while being tightwads unwilling to pay for it). Any one who would automatically neg in this situation, without prior communication, is a problem buyer who should be blocked and forgotten, IMHO. John

He don't even have anything up for sale on his ebay store? Smells fishy to me. Some good advice above. I wouldn't sweat it too awful much as everyone is entitled to a mistake, not that you done anything wrong-and you certainly did not but in reference to the negative feedback. I really don't even check feedback too often unless it's a new vendor because of this very situation. People can be real dill-holes sometimes. -Me

I had a choice to sell singles and keep the purchase price down or not and selling expensive items.

Now I sell....The scammers are the pits.....What can I say.....It brings back memories!

If you have a blackmail type email from the buyer you have got to have some room to move with ebay "surely!"

Keep us all in touch!

I've never been threatened by a buyer like this but recently after I left a neutral on a seller I got a message from him asking me to withdraw and offering me a discount on my next purchase if I did so- that was a new one to me and I just ignored him. He'd been getting a lot of negs and neutrals and apparently was trying to avoid damage to his selling profile.

i called ebay they said they will remove the extortion feedback as it is against policy to allow buyers to give neg feedback pending extra (blackmailing) services not described in the auction.

yey one for the little guy, mom n pop forever, don't tread on me.

the neg feedback is still there, I will keep fighting and stay on top of it until they remove it.

dr evil you have been put on notice austin powers has his mojo back!

guess I will survive heck even his hero nobilespirit has 7 bad feedback remarks, lol ha jokes on him. now I hope he lists items and gets the shoe on the other foot when he opens himself up to the whims of the deranged buyer.

I was just looking through the buyer's "feedback left" and see that he did the EXACT same thing to Noblespirit that he did to you (May 14, 2014). That is, he left negative feedback because the WW album with "A-Z" listings did not have any US stamps in it. I wonder if his praise of Noblespirit is based on their response? I would recommend that everyone block this user!

I had someone once buy something from me and right after he paid for it I got an email from him about how interested he was in receiving some extra free stuff that was not in the original listing but in another of my listings for sale separately. After a few emails back and forth to find out what he was actually fishing for, I decided to cancel the transaction and to refund his money because he wanted more than what he had paid for. I also sent copies of all of his emails to ebay and he was blocked from making and leaving any negative feedback and comments regarding this.

Here is one....
Got a email from a buyer that 2 of the 4 stamps (99c item) was damaged (creased) when he received them.
He claims they slid out of the holder and 2 had creases. He files a claim with ebay....
I replied....I wish you would have contacted me first since these now count against a seller...
He replied...He has no grounds other than that to stand on and replied to ebay that I tried to
have him commit fraud. (Now this is a 99c item...)
I decided to just refund (I could have replaced but...)
BAM.....he hits with a negative.
Thats not the kicker....
He purchased another item....1 month before this.....
Now he opens another case....claiming misdescribed....
So he wants to receive this for free also.
Needless to say he is blocked now.
