http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...ew=all&tid=0

i sold an international album and the guy wrote said nice album but was disappointed there were no usa stamps.

next day he gave negative feedback saying I took all the usa stamps out of the album

i wrote back and said I was not selling usa stamps but selling the album and what was there, it had pictures of worldwide stamps

he says I pulled a fast one and the neg feedback stays until I send him vintage and valuable usa stamps for the album

he seem affiliated with nobilespirit and says NS says when stamps are pulled from an album you should list like him. I note nobilespirit does not list stamps removed from albums he sells no one does and I removed no stamps as I have all usa stamps from 1920s-1995 and have for years and wasn't selling usa stamps in an international album.

i reported him to ebay for trying to get services and items not advertised and blackmailing me that if I did not send what he wanted the neg feedback would remain. thing is I have no idea what stamp places are in the album I got it in a bankers box sold it due to I don't collect worldwide. I offered to send usa stamps but needed scott list of numbers of what he wanted no list yet and neg feedback remains.

one wonders is he working for the competition since he has him as a follower and mentions him in email won't listen to reason and is heck bent on leaving bad feedback for something not even being sold.

so now after 400 good transactions this guy is holding me up on feedback for ransom of usa stamps he dreamed up that he deems should have been in the album. he seems to think all spaces with hinge remnants I should have listed, I asked him is that for all countries and he said just for usa.

sometimes buyers on ebay are just plain crooks, either that or in need of a doctor and medication.

he hasn't opened a claim with ebay yet I figure he knows he will lose and feedback will be removed.

it just don't make sence the evil some people do over there on ebay.

i guess I will survive heck even his hero nobilespirit has 7 bad feedback remarks, lol ha jokes on him. now I hope he lists items and gets the shoe on the other foot when he opens himself up to the whims of the deranged buyer.

All of the above!

Your link is over 90 days old.

The only response you need to give to this buyer is "I will be happy to refund your money. Please return it ..."

Giving in to crazy demands sets a bad precedence for you. You are at risk of becoming a target for scammers if you try too hard to bend over backwards for them. Do NOT give this person anything. Report him, then block him.

Do not get upset over this ,have attorney write a letter [cost about $100.00] INVITING him and ebay to a friendly meeting at the local court house. Then include in the letter you would like both parties to cover your attorney cost ,you will be amazed how fast ebay will clear this matter to your satisfaction.

Many years ago ,this same thing happen to N.Y.STAMPS ,where people were expecting more than what was shown in the scans of collections. After two or three of these with Jimmy's lawyers ,now ebay will step on you and you will be history for trying this same thing with NYSTAMPS.

If the buyer is blackmailing you, then report the buyer to ebay and send along a copy of the buyer's emails. That's an ebay policy violation. I see you already did that too from your message which is good. Hopefully, ebay will respond positively.

I did look at your photos and descriptions. In the future it might be best if you include more photos and a detailed list of countries in which there are stamps. The more information you have the less chance that something will come back to haunt you. When photos and descriptions are vague, you open yourself up to potential problems. The more details you have the more hits and bids are a possibility too as it will show up in more searches.

I agree with Battlestamps' comments. I buy 2 or 3 collections of this nature annually from auction houses. Both auction houses, that I frequent for these collections, go into much more detail regarding contents.

I looked around too. Hoped I might buy something off you, but I don't buy collections. I saw three individual Colombian Exhibition stamps, but I had 2 of the 3 already. The only thing I could add (as a buyer) to what Battlestamps has already said, is that on individuals, scans are best if possible rather than photos. Scans I think make sellers look more professional.

I hope you get that guy who jerked you around.

his ebay name is in the link I put up above in this thread,solarorganic2, a person can also click the number after my ebay name and see all my feedback and what he wrote and click on his name to see feedback I left him

on pictures, yes many pictures would be nice but it is a hobby not a business or living and no one takes pictures of all pages in an album just enough for the flavor of the album if they don't think it is enough I have in the past made more pictures to attach to their question if they email and if all is not good enough why buy it not knowing and then rant after and blackmail clearly against ebay policy, the guy is a nut- I dunno lol bazaar

on Colombian stamps I hate to list those I got ripped off had 2 10cent still attached book value what $180.00, I sold for $40.00 and the guy opened claim said he never got them. instant refund and never hear from him again, lesson learned high priced stamps charge shipping for tracking even on a 1 ounce letter usps charges about six bucks for it. I have more new Colombians to list but I need to go to the store for some more antacids.

i sold about a dozen international albums one guy in Canada said it smelled and I was a crack dealer a drug user right out of the blue, smelled like smoke, I don't smoke, I told him about the lighter fluid watermark thing and he actually gave me good feedback, ha that was fortunate.

on not being able to win ebay sided with me the seller two months ago the guy said item was damaged got refund and was supposed to send back to me, he never sent did not provide tracking and ebay reversed judgement refunded my money to me- sometimes it pays to fight,

thanks for your comments.

His ID is only visible as r***s to the rest of us. Even in your feedback. The reason you can see the whole thing is because he's your customer. ebay removed the ability for anyone else to see those things years ago.

Also, use Paypal/Ebay shipping and you get free tracking. Padded envelopes up to 3 ounces only cost $1.93 with tracking.

Larry - thank you. By the way, other users cannot see his ID number, using either method you described. It is truncated on the original listing, and there is no clickable feedback link on the feedback. Only the buyer and seller can see everything... John
