Estus describes how the rebirth of New York State's Fort Ticonderoga led to the issuance of the three-cent stamp honoring the fort's bicentennial in 1955 (Scott No. 1071).
Other articles include: Part II of "Let the Celebrations Begin: 75th and 50th Anniversaries of New York World's Fairs" and and a excerpt from Yamil H. Kouri, Jr.'s "Spanish Colonial Mail" paper in From Indian Trails to the Birth of a Nation. The latter was recently published by the Spellman Museum of Stamps and Postal History in a compilation of its 2013 postal history symposium in Weston, Massachusetts.
