One thing I've never have clearly found any indication in any literture that the postal issues of the government of Vichy France were use throughout France , excluding , Nord & Calasis which were assigned to German Occupied Belgium, Alsace & Lorriane being annexed to the Greater German Reich, and much of Savoy that was occupied and annexed by Italy. I assume they were. Germny tightly controled northern France including most functions of government until the Germans Occupied Vichy France on Nov. 12, 1942, and of course any issues from that date on are without question used through the rest of France. I assume that the Vichy france only power in the North would have been the issuing stamps for postal use there. The only other option is that stamps of Germany would have been used. It is possible both maybe true at somepoint and or somewhere.
