Hi guys...Take a look at the extra dots on the King's nose...My other 199 does not have them and Unitrade does show a re-entry of this type..Appreciate it if anyone can check their 199 to see if this in a normal oddity..Thanks guys.
Wert, check Ralph re-entry site. It may be what is called the bluenose. Hard to see from the picture but you may be able to get a larger, better resolution? http://www.re-entries.com/medallions.html
Could the perfin be "WJG" (W.J. Gage & Company of Toronto) who were textbook publishers and stationers (and were also believed to be distributors of some of these perforators)? Of course, it looks like a few perfin punches are missing in the letter "W", which could indicate a broken device or perhaps it was just clogged with debris.
