I am asking for members who collect Canada coils to compare their Canada perforation 8 coils from 1912 to 1930 such as Scott/Unitrade 123-130, 160-161 with their Canada perforation 8 coils from 1935 to 1948 such as Scott/Unitrade 228-230, 238-240, 263-267. Do you find the coils from 1912 to 1930 (123-130, 160-161) measure around 7.95 while those from 1935 to 1948 (228-230, 238-240, 263-267) measure around 7.85? Also, note that all holes in different rows do not match across in position on left coil pair but do match across in position on right coil pair. See picture.

When using the Kiusalas gauge, I have found that the 1912 to 1929 coil stamps mostly fit the 8-99 perforations where as those from 1935 to 1947 mostly do not.
