Hi Everyone,
I've dug out some postcards and am wondering about the date of the green stamp. I tried online but many state it's from 1860 - 1870, but that can't be right, right? I mean, someone would have hung on to this stamp for 30 - 40 years and then used it as I THINK the postmark '01' stands for 1901?

I am going to try and see if I can go online translate the front words.
Here are the photos and thank you all!

It's dated May 30th, 1901. The stamp is from Wurttemberg, Scott 59, first issued in 1890.

Oh Sue,
what a romantic card you have dug out.
On the left margin I read "je vous aime" and the poem also is nice
We loved each other / and we were hidden secretly /like two almonds /
covered by their shell.
And the handwritten is "cordial greetings from CR and best thanks for the received "..?
Enjoy your card!

That's amazing to find out what the sender wrote and about love and it's age and about the stamps too! Thank you so much to all!
