I still have mine - and my cousin's, and my uncles... I was the one in the family who kept them all. On top of that I married a woman who also collects and we still have hers. Too many old albums. I recently got a really nice hingeless album for consolidating my better US stamps. My wife tends to make her own pages for her Russian and worldwide collection. But we still have more old albums than we know what to do with.

Yes, I do. It's called the Illustrated Around-the-World Stamp Album, although it has only US pages. My grandfather bought it for me for either a birthday or Christmas present whenI was nine years old (1960). When I resumed stamp collecting a couple of years ago, I decided to keep it for my US commemoratives. The write-ups for each stamp are pretty good. Actually, my definitives are in there, too.

Yes ,have all my albums because I never stopped collecting .A lot has changed over the years and my collection is the story of my life . It started with a 25 cent album from Woolworths and a lot of stamp offers from matchbooks and BOYS LIFE magazine ,the offers of 100 stamps for 10 cents .A lot has changed in all those years ,now my stamps are valued more than the house I live in,
a long way from that 25 cent album .

When I was 12 I collected stamps and a friend that worked with my Dad gave me about 25 stamps to start..Even though I have WW stamps, I concentrate on Canadian stamps, but the very first stamp I got was from USA..It always brings back fond memories of my Dad.

I still have my yellow Harris Pioneer Album I got for Christmas around 1980. I mined out the US stamps for my Liberty album later one and the Canada stamps, but most of the world wide stamps are still there. They are mostly from the green and orange Harris stamp mixture bags bought at Woolworths and from saving stamps off mail. The best find I had in those bags (to me) was the set of large Olympic Hungary stamps from the 1960's.

I've been collecting stamps over 50 years now and still have many of the stamps I purchased or acquired way back then. I also still have my first album. Its devoid of those stamps as they were moved to better albums over the years. I still remember the first few stamps given to me by a Realtor who was also a Fleetwood Dealer. I swept the sidewalk in front of his business for 25˘ and it began. He's long gone but the wonderful hobby he introduced me to has remained a constant in my life and to this day still occupies a vast amount of my time and I still learn something new each day. What a wonderful gift I received so many years ago!
