The U.S.S. Belknap was a guided missile frigate which was later used for target practice in 1998.

Well, to be completely accurate it was a Guided Missle armed Cruiser (C), I was stationed on two frigates (Patterson and Estocin, FF and FFG classes) and did two Med deployments in which the Belknap was part of the carrier battle group. John

She was reclassified at one point - not sure if it was before or after her collision with U.S.S. JFK.
