I'm visiting my family in Houston over the weekend and found a web site for a stamp store called Harris Stamp Shop. It's a bit out of my way, but I will stop by if it is worth the visit. Has anyone been there or had any dealings with the owner?

Thanks!

I assume that is the old Harris Stamp & Coin. I didn't even know they were still in business. I've never been there, so I can't provide any insight. I haven't even made any of the shows in several years. If you go, let us know how it went. Safe travels!

I went to the store last Saturday. The owner had just moved from a 2000 sq. ft. space to a 200 sq. ft. space. Much of his stuff was in storage. I did not find anything I needed to walk away with, but I did try looking. He seems to be more into early US and very early postal history. He sent me on to Mary Jane's Stamp Store, which was only about a mile from his place. I found a few topical foreign sets at her store and had a very nice visit with her.
