Is this what is considered a jump strip of 4? Note the major change in image position . Full gum on back so doesn't seem to be any other explanation.  |

If a jumpstrip is the same as the place where two plates meet, yes, that seems to be it! Also, maybe by coincidence, the perforator seems to have re-started at the third stamp; the first three stamps are a bit mis-perforated.

I figured it had to be 2 plates to account for the amount of shift but as mentioned the perf machine must have also been in 2 seperate set ups. This was just one of a bunch of neet little bonuses in some old pages I picked up. |

Great post! Not having seen a jump strip, I was unaware of them and needless to say, unaware of how a jump strip occurred.

I honestly didn't even know what I was looking at until I looked it up in unitrade. Paste up and end tabs I have seen before but not anything like this. Not my general area so likely up for grabs. |

Looks fantastic, but isn't this Scott 309 (olive green), instead of Scott 298 (sepia)? A slight change in price, but just as interesting, of course. |

Partime: After looking closer in the catalog, I agree with you that it looks more like Scott 309, especially Scott/Unitrade 309ii jump strip of four. |
