So here is a couple of scans what appears to be a mint OG fiume number 20.

(Let me know if I need to get a better scan)

I wonder if this is forgery or been altered in any way? Is it work sending in to get a cert?
I have my doubt I own a $6000 stamp just because I'm not that lucky.
If it would end up being real I'm looking to sell most my mints to feed my Canadian Used habit while I'm off for back surgery. Since I'll be off work I need to come up with funds some way to pass my days

So let the experts comment in. I'll be posting some of my other rare stamps I may have.

Many Thanks,
Joe

PS. if its a forgery is it a good one and do forgeries have any value?

It is a poor forgery----there is 12 or 15 different types of fake overprints .

So they wasted a good Hungary stamp. LOL What a shame. It was just in the bottom of one of my boxes. So with it being a poor forgery then I doubt it has any value.

Thanks floor trader. I know nothing about these FIUME stamps. To me the E made it look fake right away. Hope no one ever paid bib bucks for this one thinking they had the real thing.

So I checked over at ebay and seen that forgeries go anywhere from $10 to a $35 for a fake one.(these where sold listings) That sound about right?

Sadly most are not listing themselves as fakes. I feel bad for someone trying to find the real deal. I think you would have to buy this one with a cert to really spend any money.
