inherited a trunk full of stamps from my grandfther and found a sheet of stamps titles approval sheet of stamps. These stamps are from the early 1900's and I dont know what they actually are. Where would I find more information on them? Thank you
Welcome to the chat board, PeterA! What you heave is a neat selection of Local stamps from the United States on an approval sheet. The Scott catalogue lists these as Local stamp issues. Many of these stamps were reprinted and counterfeited, so beware - you may benefit by scanning them to show greater detail and getting some of the more knowledgeable board members to chime in! -dave
