Angola ---Unauthorized Stamp Set

Here is a set of ANGOLA stamps that was removed from the Scott catalog after a few years because the postal authority claim they did not approve the issue.

I have a bunch of those as well. I haven't cataloged mine yet, but StampWorld.com lists most of them I think.

Q/ Anybody got any GPU (Genuinely Postally Used) on cover or card?

If they were not issued or placed on sale there, they would not exist.

Funny how that issue was unauthorized, just at first glance I would be more likely to think it legitimate because the subject matter seems to be directly related to the country the stamps are claiming to represent. It's not like the wallpaper pablum of celebrities etc that many countries' agents release these days (and back in the 1990s as well) that has no connection whatsoever with the country the stamp is supposed to represent.

I recall (with nightmares) in Australia 1987 I think it was, I bought some home units, and my interest rate was 17%
Apparently I survived it all.
