The Australia 1928 Kokaburra Minisheet in Mint condition. A much awaited stamp has filled up that empty space.

Scinde Dawk: I like your Aussie mini-sheet. I've had that item in my Australia material for some 25 years now. It's one of my all-time favorite acquisitions, outside my main collecting areas.

rustyc: I also like your Portuguese colonial material. Good to see someone else is interested in this colonial material, which is my main collecting area. I've removed all Portugal & colonies pages from my main Scott International albums and they now reside in separate binders.

I picked these up last week. That's me almost complete for pre-1940 Estonia basic issues, apart from the generally unattainable and unpleasantly expensive 1919 7th May provisional overprint issue. Isn't it always like that, though? There's always something more to do, even if sometimes there's never any chance of getting what you want. That's why I love collecting.

Very nice, Tim. I really love the unique and beautiful look of early Estonia stamps.

Thanks Jon

To add to the fun, they appear in shades too. One of these 5 markka is also double-printed. There is incredible variability in the inks around this time.

Beautiful Estonians indeed... The double printed error is too good.
Good addition to your collection.

Denmark 1933-1940 wavy line definitives (Scott 220-230) just acquired from ebay. This issue is loaded with all kinds of great paper, shade, gum, and fluoro variations not listed by Scotts. www.jaysmith.com lists many of these varieties for sale.
