Hello,
I got the below old letter for the German cancel on the back.
But now I should like to know, where it came from.
In the internet there is a list of all Hungarian towns. But none fits this cancel of 1901, so I suppose it was renamed, maybe after belonging to another country after WWI or WWII?
There is no text on the other side.
Who has an idea?
Thank you!
Heinrich

Hi Heinz55,

Might it be Poprad in Slovakia? Looks as if there is a mis-struck 'P' before the 'O'.

Thank you,
Terence Collins and Wadmalatz.
It's astonishing, all this know-how in this forum.
I am really ashamed that I never can help anybody. If I could, somebody else was faster.
