What's your question? Obviously it's a Canadian souvenir sheet.

Kevin, OK! Could you ask what bothers you? We do not know what you want to know or what it is that you are asking.
My thoughts are it is pretty, but I do not believe that is what you are after. Please be a bit more specific. I do not intend to be rude, but you are not asking a question?

Peter

I'm guessing you're asking about value? My 2012 Unitrade says that a 2001d in NH-VF condition is worth about $2000

Petert4522.....I tried to do basic research before I asked
about this item. I know nothing about foreing stamps. I deal in US stamps.
Having come across a few Canadian items in a lot that seemed
to be ERRORs....I tried searching thru ebay, internet, etc....
Then the ask here....
I know how it is to just answer questions about value....I do it all
the time in the US section.
People join....ask "what do I have?" value?
I atleast tried to do some research first.
Thanks for the help....KL

Kevin, looks like you grabbed some great items in the lot! Any others as interesting as your three most recent posts?

I just dont have a UNITRADE catalog.

I purchased a large EFO collection.....
This was part of it....Canada.
I had/have no clue that these were such good items.

Have plenty more....maybe can get a few scans up later.

Hope all is well!

Hello kevin504

Just to follow up on my last response to certification of stamps, this souvenir sheet is exactly the type of item that should be submitted to the Greene Foundation for examination.

I think (and I don't like giving opinions based on internet photos) that there is a distinct possibility that this is a fake souvenir sheet that has been cut from an escaped press sheet.

I suggest that you owe both yourself and the hobby an opportunity to examine the item. If it proves good, you have a lovely item worth a lot of money. If it proves bad you have the opportunity to keep it out of circulation. If the Greene Foundation cannot decide or prove an opinion, you will get a letter stating ""no opinion" and your expertizing fee will be returned.

Escaped was an attempt to be polite in stating that the sheet was removed from the printing facility via some unauthorized means --- potentially stolen.

as stated by canadianphilatelist above.....
This item is a LISTED in UNITRADE.

gporthc....please elaborate your opinion.

Can this item be "made" from another listed item???
You say there is NO # 2001d???

By way of elaboration, this imperf souvenir sheet "could" have been cut from an unauthorized press sheet. That is the reason I suggested that the item is worthy of being submitted for expertization.

gportch....this will be submitted for authorization.

My question???
Is there any reference for a "unauthorized" press sheet??
Was this issue IMPERF on a press sheet???

I have no clue...I have no Canadian reference material.
