Australia King George 5th ( KGV usually online auctions) side faces or possibly heads.

I am missing my catalogue right now (not current thouigh) but on ebay for instance you would find them by the above names. That would hopefully give you an idea of what they can sell for generally speaking.

But . . . they could have errors. That's a good thing or varieties or colour variations, need UV light for some, they fluoresce different colours I think. Also the perfs (perforations) around the edges are different and the watermarks (pressed into paper, look on backs of stamps, change and change value.

Very neat stamp to research and find out about.

Oliver, it really would help if you scan one stamp at the time. They will show larger and sharper!

As others have said, these come in a lot of different varieties based on watermark types and perforations, etc. In their most common iterations (which is likely in this case, but not certain), these stamps are worth in the ballpark of a dollar or two in catalog value. Real world value is probably 10-40% of that, depending on who's selling and who's buying. There are some varieties that are worth a little more.

They are all low denomination very common stamps and are all in not so good condition. I agree that if someone offered you AUS $1 you should take it and consider you got the best end of the deal. If it were me, I would ask around to see if there is a children's stamp club in town and donate them.
