"I once received malicious feedback from a buyer...claimed I never contacted him. I told ebay that I had time-stamped emails through their system and if they did NOT remove the negative feedback, they could remove my account information and name and I would never use them again. They removed the negative feedback within the hour."

While creative and super glad that this tactic worked in your favor I, however would not suggest trying it as your "go-to" for this sort of situation. As Bill Weiss said they are just too large of an entity to even consider to care about you. Sad but truthful. So what they lose you..remember they GAIN how many thousands of new accounts per day that they make money off of so why should they even try to care about one seller? (Now I could quite easily get into a tirade on why they should but will refrain for your sanity's sake) I do on rare occasion see benevolence on their behalf however that is far and few between -believe me! (or not)

I don't sell on ebay anymore unless it's over the cost of shipping and tracking so when that type of thing happens I simply give them a screen shot or picture of the receipt and they can clearly see I know that it has indeed made it. I always give benefit of the doubt first and answer any communication from buyer politely and then if all else fails, my but is covered. -Jeff

Great to hear revenuecollector! All the very best to you!

After reading about your situation over the years I do think you will not take long to build up a group of buyers.....!

I'm planning to open a storefront on my own website and hopefully build some traffic selling directly, thus bypassing all the inane ebay requirements. I realize it will be a slow go initially, but the out-of-pocket costs are minimal and I'd rather devote my efforts to developing my own traffic.
