Nice! However, I'd not consider it a fancy cancel. It appears to be the standard 4-ring cancel issued by the Post Office and used during the period. From the scan, I can't be sure of the number but it appears to be 516 (Montreal). |

Yes Jarnik, this is a 516 cancel. May be not fancy but not very common either. (RF 7) |

This cancel isn't even scarce, but I couldn't pass this up when I saw it in a dealer's book for something like $20. It was just too pretty.  |
