The image below is the corner of an envelope I received a few years ago. I have had it in my file of strange stamps for review and decided to give it a look today. Notice that the stamp appears to have a peach coloured frame around the design. The very edges of the design area are white, then there is the peach coloured frame and then white again at the very right side edge. After reviewing this stamp today I noticed that the peach frame is in fact the tagging.
Has anybody else noticed this kind of colour change from the tagging on a modern issue! We all know that older tagged stamps from the 1970's can often get quite yellow where the tagging is printed, but I have not seen much of this on recent stamps, self-adhesive or otherwise. When you see this stamp in person, it looks like it was printed with peach coloured tagging. Under the UV lamp, it fluoresces quite normally. Any additional information or insight would be welcomed.
