Bicjr where do you find the US/BNA edition at. I'm sure the 2015 edition will be out soon. Would that be better than the Unitrade. I really like the Unitrade.

I generally shop for books via Amazon. Here are three links to the US/BNA catalog at Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/2014-BNA-Post.../0794840744/

http://www.amazon.com/2015-BNA-Post...p/0794842526

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/0794841325

The first link is to the 2014 Edition, the second is to the 2015 Edition (pre-order), and the third is to book sellers for the 2013 edition used (with prices beginning at about $8).

Amazon also sells Unitrade:

http://www.amazon.com/Unitrade-Spec.../1894763467/

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/1894763416

http://www.amazon.com/Unitrade-Spec...p/1894763521

Since you like the Unitrade catalog, why not get it, and then just shell out $8 (plus shipping) for a used copy of the US/BNA?

Basil

Basil Why would I need both? The Unitrade and the US/BNA. Does the BNA list the stamps Alphabetically like the USPS Guide to U.S. Stamps?

I think the previous comments are referring to the fact that the Postal Service Guide to US Stamps has an alphabetical reference in the back of the catalog that refers one to the Scott Number for the specific stamp. It is a very helpful reference, particularly if one is looking for all of the US stamps issued for a particular subject.

wt1 That is what I am looking for. Do any of the Canadian catalogs have such a Alphabetical list?

The US/BNA Harris catalog does not have an alphabetical listing for the Canadian section. (It does have one for US commemorative stamps.)

You asked "why two?" I guess that is just my own bias showing. I like more than one because each usually has something the others does not. Since slightly outdated copies of the US/BNA Harris catalog are so inexpensive, I suggested it thinking $$$ would not be an impediment. But if you only want one, then I would probably get the Unitrade (though I have no personal experience with it, and only think it would be better from a Canadian perspective).

Thanks for your reply blcjr. Yes I think I will just stick with the 2015 edition of the Unitrade when it comes out.
