I have a high placed marketing executive with USPS checking for me about any CVP being issued before end of year - no word back yet. I just emailed again. |

The Virtual Stamp Club http://virtualstampclub.com/lloydblog/?p=2761 published an announcement from a briefing at StampShow held on August 20, 2015: "The art of Charlie checking his mailbox will also be used on USPS self-service kiosks". Thanks Peter E for drawing my attention - I just didn't read far enough down. I had been emailing the USPS Public Relations Representative and he just didn't know anything about this CVP! UPDATE: The USPS PR Rep just informed me as of this evening there is still no "Official" word that this is correct. |

" The Peanuts Movie" is opening November 6th, 2015 - it would seem a perfect time to issue the "Peanut" CVP stamp? |

It's great to see Charlie Brown on a CVP ... now the trick is to find a USPS Kiosk (or whatever they call them now) with that image. I have two area post offices with these machines ... I guess I'm going to have to check them out. |

For those of us unable to locally obtain the Charlie Brown CVP, someone is offering a real service on ebay. He is selling Charlie Brown CVP @ 79c each free shipping -mim of 3. He says "I'm trying to fill a void the Postal Service won't. This stamp is not sold by mail through the USPS philatelic center in Kansas & the number of post office lobby machines around the country from which this stamp is available seems at the moment to be very small.eBay requires a minimum "By It Now" price of 99-cents. Make an offer of 79-cents under "Make Offer", and it will be accepted." I think this is really nice way to fill a void and not force us to pay more for something we all should have access to. http://www.ebay.com/itm/14182702783...=exe,ext=ext |

I wish these were more available. Just heard from friends on the west coast. Not found in Seattle WA, Los Angeles main PO, nor Phoenix and Show Low AZ. I am going to check out the ebay seller mentioned by acanalizo. Thanks! |
