Picked up mine last week at the Plattsburgh, NY main post office. They will be used on stamp society mailing. |

These are available in (or close to) Deptford, New Jersey. I received mail today from one of my business partners franked with the CB stamp. He's not sure which PO his clerk bought them from but will ask.
added/ Still not available locally for me here in Michigan (but at least gasoline was CHEAP yesterday) |

Gulfport Mississippi just received Charlie Brown CVPs two days ago. Went back tonight to get a few more. First I ordered 3 stamps to see what would happen. I got Rudolph! Then I ordered a sheetlet of 10 and got nothing! Going back tomorrow and try to get money back or stamps. Will see! |

Was there a CVP79? Everything I can find goes from the six issues of CVP86 to the USPS logo CVP88. Thanks! |

CVP79 is a 1 cent APC stamp. It was available from June 2008 to about June 2009 from a single test APC-kiosk in Schaumburg, Illinois. Just in case you wonder, CVP 78 was a 42 cent stamp from the same kiosk.

Quote: Do we have a Scott number on Charlie Brown yet? I'm guessing CVP93... Confirmed ... CVP93. I had to buy a few postage stamps this past Saturday (01/09/2016) and Charlie Brown is still being sold. |

Anyone hear any rumors about a new USPS 2016 Computer Vended Postage stamp being issued this holiday season? |

Linn's announces on Oct 27th, a new computer-vended postage stamp for the 2016 holiday season began to be loaded into many (not all)self-service kiosks located in selected post offices. The forever stamp reuses the design of one of the Holiday Windows forever stamps issued earlier last month. As on the past, the holiday design will be pre-printed on otherwise blank labels and at time of purchase they will then printed on demand with the non-denominated "forever" inscription, two-dimensional bar-code, and number sequence are printed on the label. |

If anyone gets an extra used copy of one of these, or has an extra mint one they wouldn't mind slapping on an envelope, please let me know. I need to acquire a used copy for my collection |

I would assume it will be an image from the Snowy Day block of four if history matters. For some reason the USPS doesn't give us much advanced notice, if any notice at all, on these computer vended postage as eyeonwall states and they are usually slow loading the kiosks machines, sometimes even after the holidays. |
