Zeche Zollverein is a coal mining industrial complex in the city of Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Mining operations took place between 1851 and 1986. The complex became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001.

The majority of my career was in the mining industry and I collected stamps which depicted mining and process operations such as smelting.

My collection covers :

Non Ferrous Metals ( 115 stamps covering 16 metals from aluminium to zinc)

Minerals excludling coal ( 76 stamps covering 9 minerals from asbestos to sulphur). I did not collect stamps just depicting mineral specimens.

Would this collection be of interest to any members of the forum ?
