Chile - 2013
Third anniversary of the rescue of 33 miners who were trapped 2.300 feets deep.
All 33 survived and were rescued in a procesure that took 68 days.

CHILE - 1936
Excavator working in a Saltpeter deposit

In the 19th century, natural saltpeter was called "white gold" but its consumption declined after WW1, when artificial/industrial saltpeter was invented.
