Holy moly...That's incredible.
Have you spoken to anyone that is familiar with the production of these. Would be interested in a theory of how it could have happened.

Sorry to say but at least a dozen of these are in existence. First copy sold in auction reached 800$ in 2005. Record in auction reached 1520$ in 2007. Last 3 copies sold at auction...571$, 475$ and 525$. In their 2014 catalogue, Scott lowered slightly their 2000$ evaluation.

Like I stated previously....I know NOTHING about
Canadian stamps.

Here is one that went for $220 CAD in the march 27, 2014
Maresch auction.




It seems to me that in the last 30 years or so there is more and
more of this stuff coming out of the back door of these supposedly
Security Printers here in Canada.
Not much security there.

Many of these imperforate examples came from Ashton Potter who
no longer prints stamps for Canada but does for the USPS under
the name Ashton-Potter USA Ltd.
