I'm somewhat confused . I've been buying stamps at the Boutique for Years . In the past if you bought a certain amount of stamps etc , postage was free . When I attempted to buy 36 euros worth last week , my basket still said that my delivery charge was 24 euros . That's alot for postage . Is this the new policy ? Thanks

bvanasse,
You are correct, there has been a change. I normally order my current French stamps thru their quarterly catalog.Shipping is free if you order over 40 euros. If you order online, it's a different story as you found out.

I think they may be trying to recoup their shipping costs since they ship by International Express Mail which is not cheap.

In my opinion, the new site is not much of an improvement, just prettied up a bit. That's why I order from the catalog. It saves going thru all those screens to find & order something.

I'll leave my other French Post Philatelic horror stories for another day. All is not perfect I assure you.

Can one of you guys give me a link to the Boutique? Googling the name wasn't very successful. Thanks,

Larry

A vast array of French Colonial stamps. Interesting site, even if only to browse.
Thanks for the link.
