I see a sheet of stamps for sale that said sheet of 100 with "cs" mint never hinged with original gum. What does the"cs" stand for?

This is the sellers answer"Chromed Steel" indicating that a plate has been chromium plated. Example: Georgia Bicentennial Issue (Scott 726). Also it is rare.....probably 1% sheet of Scott#726 has CS marking. I would say CS marking sheet has 25% more value than regular sheet . Thank you

your item # was a #657 sheet....

Thanks again Kevin, The description on the main page on the bottom was a description for another sheet of stamps put on the page by mistake by the seller. No "cs" markings on that sheet. |
