Here is another Jaan Lubi forgery from Estonia .Top block is a real stamp and the lower one has a blurred wavey lines and the lettering is not a clear out lined .  |

These are fascinating. I love Estonian stamps, and I almost wish I have some Jaan Lubi forgeries in my collection because the story is so interesting. What a scoundrel he was. |

Nice thread, and one I was unaware of until now. As you know, I specialise in Estonia and have usually shied away from forgeries but you've piqued my interest again and I should go through my spare stamps in search of Lubi forgeries. It's a wet forecast and this should pass the time. If I find any, I'll post them on this thread. |
