I believe the intent of the series was to highlight defensemen from each of the six original NHL teams, four of which were based in the U.S. The previous posters just happened to highlight the U.S. teams; in additon there were stamps for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens, as shown below:

Montreal and Toronto are still in Canada . However, Doug Harvey and Tim Horton are dead, so could not sign the stamps.

Jacklac asked a very good question: how many packs would you expect to have to buy to get all 4 stamps?

It's challenging to calculate because:
a) there are 1000 Orr signed sheets vs 500 for each of the other 3.
b) while the chances are 1 in 50 of getting a pack with an autograph, it's unlikely that you'll get 4 different signatures consecutively. That is, you may need to get 6 packs with an autograph before you have the 4 different autographs.

Very, very roughly, maybe you'd need to spend $4K to $5K.

ebay is a better way to go. I picked up one card for less than $50.

Been looking on ebay for the autographed cards without success. Castlecary - did you buy the card recently?

I see a Red Kelly for sale under the 'Cards' category. I had more luck (and better prices) searching for these stamps under ebay's 'Cards' category.

Sorry. My ebay search link was "Auction only". There's a few more if you include "Buy it now". As well, I see a Pierre Pilote where the bidding is just beginning.

Thanks for the info, castlecary. One clarifying point - are the autographs on cards as opposed to the stamps or stamp sheets?

There are also some limited edition signed prints - At least of Bobby Orr. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BOBBY-ORR-A...047675.l2557

but I would assume all 4 of them.

Has anyone seen a Harry Howell one? I already have the other 3 and would be nice to complete my collection...let me know if you see a listing on ebay or would consider parting with one of your duplicate....
