I've run 5,000 to 6,000 items in one shot. Never needed one of those emails. The only emails I need are the ones that say someone has paid. I also keep copies of invoices, but I cannot imagine dealing with 5,000 listing confirmation emails or 5,000 item sold or item unsold emails. The inbox would choke to death.

Seems to me, there's a few people here
whom need to learn to use their ebay settings...
most specifically those pertaining to notifications...

disi123: It does work well. I used the settings to turn off all the excess emails.

It seems some are not fully understanding the original post and responses.

For the past month, and I'll add after (4) conversations with ebay CSR's, I'm still not receiving ANY emails. No Items SOLD, Item DID NOT SELL, NEW LISTING CONFIRMED, Buyer Questions....and Yes, I've checked my settings...but to no avail. I have no clue whats going on and ebay has no explanation or remedy. It's almost 4 weeks and all I've heard is how sorry they are to hear of my problem and it will be escalated to the proper department. Nothing more. I did attempt to change my email but the confirmation email didn't come either so since I couldn't confirm, the change has not gone through either.

From what you have stated, it's your email settings where the problem
lies... it has nothing to do with ebay notifications. nothing to do with ebay...

My email is not through my ISP but with Hotmail which is Microsoft. I've checked my filters and all seems to be in order. I also added each specific ebay address to my safe list.

I have a paid Microsoft Support Subscription and a support tech remoted himself onto my computer and checked my hotmail account. All of the specific ebay mail addresses were added to my safe list.

ebay support staff also checked my settings on their site and they are also set correctly. ebay csr reps have indicated they have many of the same complaints and have forwarded it to the proper department.

I'm simply agreeing with the original poster of this thread and let him know he is not alone and that after 4 weeks the problem still exists.
