I had a pack of Dennison hinges when I was a kid. That pack was easily still 3/4 full when I moved to unused stamps in mounts. I ended up throwing the pack out before I knew what value it was to collectors. Sigh...

Glassine and gum arabic make a peelable hinge.

And I believe the hinge gum is best when it has a texture.
